Overview

(PACU 32) 06-1830 flex, 2-12 hour shifts a week, with Call. The Registered Nurse specializing in perioperative practice performs nursing activities in the pre-anesthesia and post-anesthesia care of patients. The recovery RN monitors patients having local procedures and may administer conscious sedation, if certified. This role involves ensuring quality care through the nursing process and acting as a patient advocate. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and educating patients on care plans.
